The highs and lows of a music festival

The absolute best moments at a festival:
-          The rush you get when you finally getting through the gates
-          Being on the barrier and feeling far superior to all the punters behind you
-          Seeing your favourite band side stage making whatever rubbish your watching worth it
-          When your band finally sets foot on the stage and you almost explode from excitement
-          When your band plays your favourite song and your singing so much you can barely breathe
-          Leaving the mosh pit and actually being able to breathe again
-          Getting to the front of the impossibly long food line
-          Finding a vacant toilet that has toilet paper and no vomit in it
-          Buying a tshirt before they sell out
-          Seeing random friends that you didn't know were coming
-          Filming really good bands so you can re-live it while watching rubbish bands
-          Realising that you actually know heaps of songs that a random band is playing
-          Meeting people who love your favourite band too and instantly becoming friends
-          Discovering new music
-          Seeing people in awesome costumes
-          Seeing people in incredibly strange costumes and trying to guess what they are
-          Taking your shoes off at the end of the day
-          Finally getting to your bed
And the worst bits:
-          Sitting through rubbish bands that are on before yours
-          When your favourite band ends :(
-          When your separated from your friends and there’s a tiny moment of panic when you wonder if you will ever see them again
-          People passing out on you
-          Getting bashed around in the mosh pit
-          When there are two really good bands on at the same time and you have to choose
-          Drunk/drugged up people
-          Dying a little on the inside when you see the toilet and food lines
-          When the tshirt you want has sold out of your size and your only choices are one that doesn’t fit, one with a rubbish design or bands that you hardly like
-          Standing on the train when your feet are dead and you all want to do is lie down
-          Losing your little map/timetable and having no idea where or when bands are starting.
-          When your favourite band doesn’t sing the song you want them to sing
-          When your fav band cancels and there’s no-one else worth watching at that time so you end up sitting down sadly hating your favourite band for not being there
-          The bruises and other battle wounds that you discover the next day

(if you can think of anymore feel free to comment!)
